20K MTT Challenge on BetOnline

USA-friendly poker room BetOnline is putting up $20,000 in cash prizes for their August MTT Challenge. The competition will be divided into three different buy-in levels each with a separate leaderboard and payout structure.

Here’s how it works: 

Play in any Multi-table Scheduled Tournament (MTT) and you’ll automatically be accumulating points towards the leaderboard. Points will be awarded based on the following formula:

Leaderboard Points = Total Contribution (all buy-ins, rebuys, and add-ons from all players) divided by your finishing position. 

Each leaderboard will run from Monday at 00:00am through the following Sunday at 11:59pm ET. 

There will be three separate competitions running simultaneously based on buy-in level. The Bronze leaderboard will include events with a buy-in from $.05 to $1.99. Silver will cover tournaments with an entry cost of between $2 and $19.99, while any event with a buy-in of $20 or more will fall under the Gold category. 

The top 20 players in each level will receive the following payouts at the end of the week:
