USA-friendly Americas Cardroom has released a new software update which contains a number of industry-first features and enhancements. Described by spokesperson Michael Harris, the new software was designed “to make railing easier, winning more fun, and the overall experience more impressive all around.”

Available now, players on ACR will be able to utilize all of the following features:

Player Observer Tool: Available for use in both cash games and tournaments, players can generate a link and send it to their friends. Using the web browsers flash, observers can watch the player through the link in real time without having the ACR software downloaded or installed.

Double or Nothing: Upon leaving a table players will be offered the opportunity to double what they’ve won, or recover their losses through a simple mini-game. After leaving a cash game table they will be presented with the option to bet on red, or black. Upon making the selection a card will be drawn at random from a standard 52 card deck (plus two jokers!). If you backed the right side, you’ve won! Players can also decline to play, or decline to play and see which side would have won at the cost of $.25.

Avatars: ACR players can now choose from a new lineup of avatars to represent them at the table, which will include a number of different emotional options to reflect their current mood.

Ticket Manager: Players will now be able to easily view the tournament tickets they’ve accumulated, including expiration dates and other statuses.
