Bad Beat Jackpot on GrandPoker

First, to qualify players must be seated at a table specifically designated for the Bad Beat Jackpot, found under the ‘Cash Game’ tab. To officially hit the jackpot a player must then lose a hand while holding four of a kind 8s or better.

The best hand for both the winner and loser must use both of their hole cards, and the hand must go to showdown. Similarly, the hand must be raked and the jackpot contribution must be collected in order for the hand to qualify. In the unlikely event that more than two players make a qualifying hand, the two highest will count towards the jackpot.

For each hand played at a Bad Beat Jackpot table 1% of the total pot, up to a maximum of $5, will be used to feed the jackpot. Once hit, 60% of the overall jackpot will be divided up as follows:

50% will be awarded to the loser of the hand, the player who suffered the bad beat.

30% will go to the winner of the hand, the player who won the hand.

20% will be split up between the other players that are involved in the hand.

Those sitting out will not receive a portion of the jackpot.
