Lock Poker to Acquire Cake Poker Network

Lock Poker announced this morning that they were in the process of acquiring the Cake Poker Network, and will be rebranding it with the launch of Revolution Gaming. The LockPRO team of established poker professionals are said to have an important roll in this changeover, as the Lock product looks to improve in every way going forward to create the ultimate experience for their players.

The changeover will take place on May 31st, and will be seamless for existing Lock Poker customers. Players will simply log-on, download a software update, and their real money balances and VIP benefits will be immediately available. Lock has also confirmed that they will maintain their own stand-alone cashier so that withdrawals will continue to roll on a regular basis.

For those worried about VIP and rakeback compensation, Lock stated in their official press release that "All players' current player VIP rewards will only increase and all rakeback players will be moved over to the increased percentage on Revolution'. More details regarding VIP and rakeback compensation are forthcoming.

Lock Poker CEO Jennifer Larson commented "Merge was a great stepping stone for us but we have outgrown them. We really need to forge our own path to continued success. The only way to do this is to stay true to our core philosophy: partnering with our players".

TheNuts will be sure to post further details as they become available. Don't have an account on Lock Poker yet? Register through TheNuts now.
