Poker Heaven Bad Beat Jackpot Continues to Grow
The Poker Heaven Bad Beat Jackpot currently exceeds €763,000, making for one of the largest bad beat prize pools in recent memory. As with most Bad Beat Jackpots, the largest prize is awarded to the player who has the good fortune of LOSING a hand with with four of a kind Tens (or better), while sitting at designated Bad Beat Jackpot table. The player that takes the next 'Bad Beat', will take home over a quarter of a million euros!
Once the jackpot is hit, the prize pool is divided up as follows:
-The player that holds the losing hand (the bad beat hand) - 35% of prize pool
-The player that holds the winning hand - 17.5% of prize pool
-Other players dealt into the hand will share 17.5% of the prize pool (you MUST be dealt in, if you sit out - you miss out!)
-House Administration Fee - 10% of prize pool
-Amount used to seed the next jackpot - 20% of prize pool
Poker Heaven set their all-time Bad Beat Jackpot record back in July of last year, when the jackpot was hit for €1,265,583.34. Two players got all of their money in pre-flop at a €0.50/€1 No Limit Table with Pocket Aces and Pocket Kings. The board ran out A-9-K-K-A, instantly creating the richest table on Poker Heaven.
The lucky loser of the hand took home €442K, the winner €221K, with the other seven players dealt in pocketing €31K a piece.
