The Beast Tops 100K in Weekly Prizes on ACR

USA-friendly Americas Cardroom has started 2017 with a mighty “roar” as their popular weekly points race competition, The Beast, saw it’s prizepool soar over $100,000. With the amount of cash and prizes dictated entirely by the amount of activity at the tables, it’s clear there’s never been a better time to play on ACR.

The Beast is an extremely lucrative race promotion where players can climb the leaderboard and claim prizes of up to $2,500 (plus tournament tickets!) for simply enjoying their favorite cash games. The Beast is also unique in that the prizepool is progressive - the more hands that are dealt across the network the more money there is to go around at the end of the week. What’s more, the prizepool for this massive weekly contest is funded entirely by the poker room - there is no extra rake or expense to the players.

Cash game players will earn 1 point for every $.02 fed to the The Beast prizepool using the ‘Weighted Contributed’ rake methodology. Track your progress on the leaderboard via the ‘Rewards’ tab under ‘Points Race’.

Each race will run weekly from Saturday at 00:00 through the following Friday at 23:59. All payments will be issued by the end of the day every Monday.

There are four separate payout tiers for The Beast:

Tier 1: $2,500

Tier 2: $1,000

Tier 3: $250

Tier 4: $100

For every $10,334 in the weekly prizepool the following payouts will be added:

One Tier 1

Two Tier 2

Five Tier 3

Twenty Tier 4

And $2,584 will be used to reseed the following week’s race. The more money there is in the prizepool, the more everyone gets paid.

Those that earn a cash prize will also take home a valuable tournament ticket on top.
