NFL Championship Games Locked

Now that the Divisional Playoffs have wrapped, it’s time for the AFC & NFC Championship games this Sunday.  It will all culminate on Sunday, February 13th, when two of the following four teams meet at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for Super Bowl LVI.  Here we go:

The first game this Sunday, January 30th, the Kansas City Chiefs will play in their fourth consecutive AFC conference championship when they host the Cincinnati Bengals on CBS at 3PM ET.  Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have won this game the last two years, while the Bengals haven’t made it this far since 1988, which was also the last time they made it to the Super Bowl, which they lost.

Next up it’s the NFC’s turn, at 6:30PM ET on Fox, as the San Francisco 49ers travel downstate to play the Los Angeles Rams.  The 49ers last won their conference two years ago, before losing the Super Bowl.  As for the Rams, their last conference win was back in 2018.  They also went on to lose the Super Bowl that year.

Again, the winning teams this Sunday face off two weeks later in the Super Bowl.
