Americas Cardroom Adds Six Plus Holdem

USA-friendly Americas Cardroom has introduced a new poker game known as Six Plus Hold’em. A modified version of Texas Hold’em, Six Plus has a few key differences that make for an exciting, short deck experience. Check it out today.

Six Plus is very similar to traditional Texas Hold’em, but with fewer cards. All of the 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s have been removed from the deck meaning the possibility of making stronger hands is greatly increased. The hand rankings have also been reworked to reflect this new dynamic. Here they are from weakest to strongest:

1. High Card

2. Pair

3. Two Pair

4. Straight (the low straight is A6789)

5. 3 of a Kind

6. Full House

7. Flush

8. 4 of a Kind

9. Straight Flush

10. Royal Flush

The major differences are that 3 of a kind will beat a straight, and a flush will defeat a full house.
