PokerStars Launches UK Mobile App, PokerStars.eu for Swedish/Finnish Players
It's only Tuesday, but it has already been an eventful week on PokerStars with the launch of PokerStars.eu for players in Sweden and Finland on Monday, and today's release of the brand new PokerStars Mobile Application in the UK.
As of February 13th, PokerStars.eu has officially launched for players in Sweden and Finland, allowing players from both countries to take full advantage of PokerStars' new Maltese gaming license. Online poker winnings in Sweden and Finland are tax-free if they are won in the EU, on a site with a license issued by a member of the EU - which PokerStars.eu is. Swedish and Finnish players will download an update when they next launch the software, and will have their accounts transferred to the new .eu site.

PokerStars is making headlines this Valentines Day with an update that UK poker players will love: the PokerStars Mobile App. Beginning February 14th, PokerStars players in the UK can download the PokerStars Mobile App from the Apple or Android App stores. This innovative new app allows players to play real money Texas Hold'em or Omaha poker games from their mobile devices. Cash games, Sit-N-Go's, and Tournaments are all available -- players can even multi-table!
