New Jersey Achieved An iGaming Record Of $260 Million

In October, New Jersey achieved an iGaming record of $260 million.

The total Garden State gaming revenue in October was $611.1 million, up 22.3% from the previous year.

October saw an all-time high of $260.3 million in revenue for New Jersey's iGaming operators, and the state also recorded year-over-year increase in all segments of its gaming business.

According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, total gaming revenue for the month was $611.1 million. This was 8.4% ahead of this September and 22.3% ahead of October 2024.

In New Jersey, iGaming outpaced land-based and sports betting as the primary source of gambling revenue. The market for sports betting, however, had the most annual growth.

When the monthly numbers were broken down, iGaming income exceeded $250 million for the first time and was 21.8% more than the total for the previous year. This August, it exceeded the state's previous record of $248.8 million by 4.8%.

Online slots and table games brought in about $257.7 million for iGaming, a 22% increase over the previous year. Revenue from peer-to-peer online poker also rose 11.1% to $2.6 million.

With $60.9 million in revenue, FanDuel and its partner Golden Nugget continued to lead this industry. BetMGM and the Borgata came in third with $33.2 million, while DraftKings and Resorts World came in second with $48.5 million.

The monthly revenue from sports betting was $116.1 million, a 49.8% increase over the previous year. Online betting accounted for $110.7 million of this, up 45.9%, while retail revenue increased by 242.5% to $5.4 million.

The month's overall handle for client spending was $1.24 billion, up 10.7% from October of last year. This sum comprised $43.8 million in retail expenditures and $1.19 billion in online bets.

As a result, New Jersey had a 9.39% statewide betting hold by the end of October 2025.

With $39.9 million in revenue, FanDuel and Meadowlands once again dominated the internet market. BetFanatics and Bally's came in second with $11.4 million, followed by DraftKings and Resorts World with $30.5 million.

With $2.3 million in sales, Meadowlands continued to hold the top rank among retail locations. Borgata, which reported $1.5 million in total monthly revenue, was once again its closest rival. Handle information for specific operators is not published in New Jersey.

Land-based casinos generated the remaining $234.7 million in revenue, a 12.5% increase over the previous year.

Physical slot machines brought in $174.4 million, a 9.1% increase. Additionally, the revenue from land-based table games was $60.3 million, which is about 23.5% more than it was in October 2024.

In terms of the year-to-date, New Jersey's overall gambling income for the ten months ending in October was $5.74 billion. Compared to the same time last year, this was 10% higher.

Sports betting revenue was 0.2% higher at $914.6 million, while iGaming revenue was 22.6% higher at $2.39 billion. In the same time frame, land-based casinos made $2.44 billion, an increase of 3.4% from the previous year.
